Jeffery E. Lay, Principal
Jeff is a 24-year veteran of the United States Navy, United States Air Force, and Ohio Air National Guard. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he served a decorated military career flying the F-14 Tomcat and the F-16 Fighting Falcon. An accomplished Mission Commander and graduate of the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), he flew more than 50 combat missions, made over 400 carrier landings and accumulated over 3,500 flight hours during three combat deployments to Southwest Asia, the Mediterranean, and Persian Gulf.
Designated both a United States Navy Naval Aviator and United States Air Force Command Pilot, Jeff's numerous combat qualifications include:
- F-16C/D Instructor Pilot
- F-16C/D Mission Commander
- F-16C/D Forward Air Controller
- F-16C/D Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Instructor
- F-16C/D LANTIRN Targeting Systems Instructor

Jeff's personal decorations include the Naval Strike Flight Air Medal (2 Devices), Navy Commendation Medal (3 Devices), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 Devices), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (Bronze Star), Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
Jeff resides with his wife, Andrea, and their daughter, Reagan, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
